A Large 17th Century Carved Oak Coffer

This is a lovely old piece, with a superb patina, the chest has four panels on the front decorated with a wide carved border
On the heavy top of the coffer there are 4 deep moulded panels
The chest stands on peg feet and has some very old iron work
This is avery pleasing piece with good patina and in good condition for its age

The coffer is 53” long, 22” deep and 24” high
