A large 18th century Delft vase

A good sized Delft vase, freely painted with birds, insects,a profusion of flowers and, of course, peacocks. The ovoid body is moulded like a melon with a similarly shaped collar which has all the telltale marks of a Delft pot. It has nibbles and fritting around the rim which, if they weren't there, you might be suspicious. There is a trace of flow-blue effect in the white glaze but very slight.
