A large pair of late 19th century silver plated prickets of primarily hollow copper construction and having and iron threaded spike running through the centre, clamping everything together. The prickets have finely turned stems and bases, terminating on lion paw feet. The drip pans are nailed on with two spikes sat in the centre. The prickets have some knocks and dents and a small piece of one of the spikes is missing, commiserate with age but otherwise in very good condition.
