Beautifully made, especially considering its age, this chair is from the period of James II and is in remarkable condition with no breaks or repairs visible. The castors and upholstery are 19th century. 630 mm wide, 740 mm deep, 1125 mm high and 420 mm seat height. Circa 1685. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
