A good example attributed to the South Yorkshire / Derbyshire region (c.1780-1820) Raised on turned front legs united by stretchers suporting original plank seat

The definitive back crests with central head, voluted scrolls and acorn pendants. The uprights with scrolled terminals and split spindle appliques.

Bearing the initials 'IK' of an ex owner

Solid condition with excellent patina. Old repairs to back crests and tips to back legs, general wear commensurate with age.
