A Mahogany Gillows Style And Quality Writing Table %%alt5%%
A magnificent quality mahogany writing table in the manner of Gillows. It is finished all round with dummy drawers at the back and moulded and panelled ends, so can be freestanding in a room. There are turned and reeded knobs to the drawers and matching finials to the end supports. The top has a replacement gold tooled hide with a crossbanded surround. The table stands on turned bun feet with replacement brass castors. Circa1835
