This highly decorative matched pair of African Congo region ceremonial face masks is beautifully handmade.
They are modelled in clay and decorated with woven leather and hemp, fabric, seashells, brass studs and wired enhancements.

Each one is boldly different with dramatic expressions. Both masks are in good original condition with some age related wear and small imperfections in keeping with their origin, age and manufacture.
