A pair of 19th Century porcelain dogs.

A pair of porcelain dogs, elegant and strangely human looking in their faces. One has a Chelsea anchor mark but I believe them to be by Edme Sampson who copied other factories work. He set up his business to copy works by others and particularly things in museums. He died in 1891.
