A fine pair of Continental Birds-eye maple cabinets with original "gris de savoie" marble tops. Each raised on a plinth bases, with single door concealing a shelved interior and opened by an interesting mechanism connected to the central carved knob. In very good condition. 860mm high, 360mm wide and 360mm deep. Circa 1870 W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
