Dating to the end of the 19th century this East German pine Dresser base / sideboard is in very good condition.
Standing on bracket feet, the sideboard has 3 drawers to the left hand side which are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have their original metal knobs. To the right hand side there are 2 shelves to the inside which are enclosed with a panel door complete with applied carved motif, original catch and knob.
The top is all god with no significant marks or scratches..

The sideboard has been recently stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm patination.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the sideboard but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment.

The sideboard measures
40 inches wide
19 inches deep
33.5 inches high.
