A Quality Burr Walnut Extending Dining Table
A quality antique burr walnut extending dining table with extra leaf standing on cabriole legs. This quality antique Queen Anne style dining table dating to the 1920's has a rectangle burr walnut quarter bookmatch veneered top with a crossbanded edge and carved foliate mould. The top pulls apart to accept one further leaf turning this table into a 8 seater as can be seen in the images. Having a walnut frieze and raised on cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaf decoration to the knee this dining table is in excellent condition having been fully restored using traditional methods. Also available with this dining table is a set of eight matching burr walnut cabriole legged dining chairs with leather swabs. The chairs and the dining table are an original suite, having been made together and not been matched at a later date The set is also listed at a discount price for both and the eight chairs are also listed separately.
