A rare Welsh oak Cupboard

Of unusually small size and rare form, this beautiful cupboard has fine colour and patina.
Probably made in Cardiganshire by a hand who was used to making deuddarns, it has the little stepped shelf and flush sides found on deuddarns but on a form where a waist moulding would be the usual design.
By the way I am 5'3"" high, I am being used to illustrate how small this cupboard.
The addition of a finely detailed, dentil cornice, boldly carved ogee arched fielded panel to the upper door and charming panel arrangement to the lower door along with panelled sides make this cupboard quite exceptional.
Havard & Havard are committed to holding high standards of practice and thus enable you to have complete confidence in your purchases.
