A 19th Century Edo Period Samurai Kabuto Helmet & Menpo Mask

This helmet and mask is likely late Edo period and has been sympathetically restored with the beautiful fox red urushi, shown with a circle maedate but actually has horns like a nod to the famous Samurai Red Devils of old.

The inside of the Kabuto is beautifully guilded in a rich gold colour, there is some minor wear and here to both helment and menpo but consumate with age.
