A French brass cased striking carriage antique clock. An enamel dial with blued steel hands and black Roman numerals. Marked to the dial by retailer 'Howell & James of London To The Queen'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Movement backplate numbered 186. A lever escapement. Made by Richard of Paris. Complete with the original box and key. Circa 1895.
