A highly desirable Regency Sheraton type Gillows open set of bookshelves having fully adjustable set of shelves. This 19th century narrow is constructed from the best quality mahogany with deep satinwood cross banding and ebony and boxwood stringing. The top has a swan necked pediment inlaid with boxwood quarter fans and urn finials flanked by fine acanthus carved detailing. The base with two drawers, one stamped with the makers name and a set of four adjustable deep shelves for larger books/items. The whole raised on Marlborough type block feet. This piece of antique furniture has been fully restored by qualified professional restorers and is ready to place in the home. Excellent condition. Circa 1885.Measures 72”w x 69”h x 20”d
