A Superb Bonheur Du Jour By Wilkinson Of Ludgate
A superb Regency Bonheur Du Jour by Wilkinson of Ludgate Hill. In fine quality rosewood with satinwood banding and a wealth of gilt lacquered brass embellishments and moldings. In exceptionally good and original condition. 1280mm high, 1020mm wide and 430mm deep. English. Circa 1820
N.B. The firm of Wilkinson was established by William Wilkson in 1808 and was continued by his sons, William and Charles, after his death in 1833. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
