A superb Pier cabinet attributed to Gillows. With a wealth of marquetry inlaid and ormolu mounts this lovely cabinet is in burr walnut with tulip wood banding and is in very good and original condition even retaining its original velvet interior lining. 1100mm high, 800mm wide and 340mm deep. English. Circa 1860 W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
