A Tall Martin Brothers Renaissance Style Pitcher

For sale today we have this super example of an Arts & Crafts jug by the Martin Brothers Pottery, Southall. Of tapering form, this large pitcher features a Renaissance inspired design of stylised scrolling foliage and berries to it's entirety. Incredibly precise workmanship and a nice even firing really makes this piece stand out- the handle terminal in particular is a delight!
Stands an impressive 24cm tall. Incised to the base Martin Bros, London + Southall.
In excellent display condition, the jug has had 2 fine hairlines stabilised. Not seen unless really searched for.
Any questions, please ask.
