A William IV Mahogany X frame stool window seats bench %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A William IV stool, raised on X frame end supports united by a turned stretcher all in fine quality mahogany. The stool is upholstered in hand dyed, deep buttoned and brass nailed tan leather. In very good condition. 460mm high, 900mm wide and 480mm deep. Circa 1835. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
