A Wonderful Set of 8 (6+2) Mahogany Regency Dining Chairs.
These Chairs are Raised Upon Fluted Sabre Front Legs and Sabre Back Legs.
The Backs of the Chairs Being of a Very Unusual Design, Comprising of 3 Fluted Panels Flanked By Fluted Uprights and Shaped Cresting Rails.
The Carvers Having Unusual Shaped and Fluted Arms with Ring Turned and Fluted Supports.
The Seats are Currently Upholstered in a Quality Leather with a Lovely Aged Patina and Brass Work.
The Chairs are in the manner of William Trotter.
(William Trotter of was a Scottish cabinet-maker who served as Lord Provost of Edinburgh from 1825 to 1827
A highly respected maker of Regency antique furniture he has been called Scotland's greatest cabinet-maker. He has a distinctive and recognisable style.)
