Adam Style Mahogany Elbow Chair

An elegant and fine quality Edwardian mahogany elbow or carver chair in the manner of Robert Adam, having harebell, wheat ear, and paterae carving to the back, with drop-in upholstered seat, and raised on square tapering legs united by cross stretchers.
Matching set of six standard chairs also available. See our ref. A9323
Width 23” (58cm) Depth 22” (56cm) Height (overall) 37” (94cm) Height (seat) 18” (46cm)
Condition & Details of Restoration
This chair is in original structural condition. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some minor old marks under the polish, but nothing you wouldn’t expect to find on a chair like this that is in very good condition for its age. The seat has been re-covered, prior to our ownership it is in quite good condition, although perhaps a little faded. We would be happy to advise regarding re-covering should the client require.
