A Victorian Aesthetic Movement open and enclosed ebonised bookcase of breakfront form. The top, frieze, plinth, door and ends with amboyna banding between boxwood and ebony stringing. With further boxwood aesthetic style inlay to the door, styles and frieze. Applied brass beading to the top, frieze and door panel. The open bookcases with 3 adjustable shelves and replaced gold tooled leather dust covers. The interior cupboard with 2 shelves. This bookcase is ebonised mahogany with very slight signs of fading and 1 or 2 old, small but not serious bruises.
Max width 66.25"...168cm. Centre depth 16.75"...43cm. Mini. depth 15"...38cm. Height 42"...107cm. the open bookcases offer a book run of 10'6"...3.2m.
The centre with a book run of 6'8"...1.98m. In good useable condition, fully cleaned and waxed. Delivery to most of U.K. £75. ALL TRADE ENQUIRIES WELCOME.
