Superb quality Aesthetic movement corner display cabinet by the London maker Thomas Wallis & Co c.1890. In two pieces, the top with a glazed cabinet over an open shelf with mirrored back panels and the base with a single drawer over a two door cabinet with beautiful floral painted door panels, flanked with glazed sides over an open base. In ebonised or lacquered mahogany with carved detail picked out in gilt. Crisply turned spindles, column supports and legs. Original glazing, bevelled mirrors and lining fabric. Mahogany drawer linings with a brass maker’s label for T.Wallis & Co, Holborn Circus, London inside the drawer front. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
