For sale we have a really lovely Oil Painting by the excellent contemporary artist Alan Morgan.

Alan Morgan was born in 1952. He studied art at Swansea and Coventry Art Colleges and graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art (Painting). He now lives on the boarder between Herefordshire and Powys. In his professional career as an artist he has focused on composing stunning realistic landscapes in which his inspiration is derived from light, colour and atmosphere, with influences from the Pre-Raphaelites, Fauvists and the Impressionists.

This particular painting is 50cm wide x 39cm high and depicts a lovely stone bridge over a woodland stream. The subject matter has a very Pre-Raphaelite feel combined with a stunning sense of realism. Typical of Alan Morgan, the play between the light and colour is breathtaking.

The painting is presented in a good quality gilt frame.
