American Civil War Era fork with leather sheath, 19th C
4 tine metal fork with wooden handle, inlaid with pewter.
Rare find being complete with its original hand stitched black leather sheath. The sheath is designed to fit on a belt.
Both fork and sheath in well used but still study condition with traces of rust and tarnish, small pieces of pewter inlay missing.
Period repair to one side at the top of the sheath.
