Ornate Gold Plated Hunter Case
Press the winder and the front cover springs open.
The dial is signed American Waltham Watch Co.
There are two short hairlines between 11 and 12 and some nibbles /staining at the edge by 4 and 5 which is mainly covered by the bezel so barely visible.
Otherwise in very good condition.
The case has surface marks associated with normal light use and does not have a maker's mark. There is some wear to the plating on the inside of the front and back covers.
The ornate design is on front and back of the case and is in great condition.
To set the hands to the time, open the front cover and pull out the lever at 5 with your thumbnail and turn the winder. Remember to push the lever back in before closing the case.
The movement has been serviced and is working well.
Movement guaranteed for 12 months.
A great American watch from the late 19th century.
