An Early Single Hand Longcase by Harding, Ringwood
An early single handed Georgian longcase clock. Small proportions to the 'cottage' case. Good colour to the oak case with a flat top moulded pediment. Brass capped hood side columns. A brass and silvered dial with single hand dial layout and a very well engraved matted dial centre. A 30 hour duration 'birdcage' mechanism striking the hours on a bell.
The dial is signed 'Jno. Harding, Ringwood' (Hampshire) to the bottom of the chapter ring.
