A stunning quality wellington chest in mahogany with satinwood, boxwood and ebony banding, made by James Shoolbred of Tottenham Court Rd, London. The chest stands on a plinth base and contains 6 hand dovetailed drawers, all mahogany lined with their original brass handles. Shoolbreds started designing and manufacturing high quality antique furniture in the 1870’s and continued through until 1931when the company ceased trading.
