This superb little fellow is beautifully hand carved from hardstone quartz a rare variety called tiger's eye which gets its name from the similarity of lustrous natural colours which are seen in a tiger’s eye.

The finely modelled and hand carved stone owl is supported on detailed silver clawed feet and legs. His precise little beak is carved from dark orange coral and he has very realistic glass eyes.

The owl is mounted and displayed onto a white naturally shaped and polished stone, most likely marble.
