An Oak Iron Bound Ships Barrel, with the Royal Coat of Arms

This lovely old piece it is made made in Oak and decorated with the Royal Coat of Arms, the barrel stands in 3 small brass hairy paw feet and it has brass carrying handles
The barrel would have been a storage piece on a naval ship, but now lends itself to any number of uses, how about an unusual Log basket?
The Barrel is 14” high and 18 in diameter
