Charming early 19th.c. Welsh dresser base c.1830. Oak top with plate groove and applied mouldings over three drawers and two cupboard doors (the middle drawers being dummy fronts). Superb front with crossbanded drawer fronts, hexagonal mahogany door panels with sunburst parquetry corners and inlaid diamond and spot detail used in antique furniture produced in market town of Talwrn on the island of Anglesey here in North Wales. Panel sides, turned mahogany knobs and bracket feet, original back and floor boards. Lovely pale colour, mellowed with age and excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
