Mid 19th.c. mahogany Welsh dresser base or sideboard of a style produced on the isle of Anglesey in North West Wales c.1860. Single piece top with an applied edge over six drawers and two cupboards (internal depth 16"). Quite unusual to have working drawers at the centre rather than dummy drawer fronts. Rosewood crossbanded drawer fronts with kite-shaped bone escutcheons, octagonal mouldings to the door panels and original brass knobs throughout. Shaped bracket feet to the front. Deal panelled sides and back. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
