This is a solid English Walnut Victorian Wardrobe made by C.W.S. cabinet makers, Haymills, Birmingham.  This piece is of Superior quality with all of the carcus wood being solid oak with a brass original hanging rail.  A great piece with small bracket feet to the base with single lower drawer.  The main carcus has carved scallop cartouches to flanking the main door which is hinged on the right hand side and opens by its original turn catch.  The inside has a hanging rail with hooks going round the inside.  The upper cornice has a complicated arrangement of mouldings with ogee at the top and dentil moulding in the middle, a wonderful piece.
