Antique 18th Century Elm Sword Box c1740
Antique George 11 Elm Plank Sword Box and dating from around 1740.
It has a moulded edge to the top and with original iron lock escutcheon to the front and original iron loop hinges. It stands on bracket feet and is hand and peg joined.
Measures 19" high x 16" deep x 42" wide.
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
