A wonderful set of eight regency 19th century Georgian mahogany dining chairs. This set of 8 ( 6 + 2) George Geo III/IV chairs comprise a pair of armchairs, these two chairs are generous in size and have a elegant scroll arms with reeded legs typical of Gillows. The single chairs are of same design with a concave shaped supporting top rail. These chairs would grace any table and have been completely restored by qualified and professional restorers . All the chairs have been re-assembled so the joints are stable and polished to a warm rich colour. The drop in seats have been re-sized and covered in calico and await a fabric of your choice for the top. Circa 1820. Excellent condition. Measure 19”w x 16”d x 35”h.
