This is a most unusual and very decorative antique brass hanging lantern of good scale and in nice condition. The light is in solid pressed brass with decorative foliage detail and six glass panels set into the mirhab shaped windows. It has its original long chain and decorative ceiling rose and working on chain switch that hangs from the centre of the light.
This has been fully rewired with modern braided cable that is in keeping with the age of the piece so this is ready to be wired in and is a good size measuring 130 cms in height overall (100 not including the on off switch chain). The shade itself is 30 cms wide by 52 cms in height. It would be possible to remove links from the chain to reduce the drop if needed.
