Antique Burr Walnut Leather Top Pedestal Desk
An outstanding antique burr walnut leather top pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1960’s.
The quality is superb, it is large, impressive, and extremely well made. This has stunning burr walnut grain patterns and a gorgeous colour tone. The top has an inset green leather top which has a wonderful patina, and fine carving around the edges. The drawers have lovely brass handles and cross banded edges, with double herringbone inlaid borders. This is nicely finished on the back, so it can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.

Depth – 36 inches , 92 cm
Height – 31.5 inches , 80 cm
Knee height – 24.5 inches , 62 cm
