This walnut secretaire bookcase is in lovely condition & I would date it to around the 1930's period. It has a wonderful mellow colour & many fine features, so please enlarge all the images. The top section has arched top astral-glazed doors, with two shelves inside. The burr walnut drawer below pulls out to reveal a splendid desk interior, which still has the original tooled leather writing surface, drawers & pigeon holes. Below this is a two door cupboard with burr walnut panels on the doors. This cupboard is deeper, so has plenty of storage. There are small shaped feet below with shell carvings. This piece comes apart into two sections for easy transportation.
