A magnificent antique burr walnut chest of drawers, this is of the highest order. It was made in England and dates from around the 1900-1920 period.

The quality is absolutely amazing, this is so well made and beautifully designed. There are stunning burr walnut veneers, all on solid wood construction. This is large and very sturdy with plenty of storage space.

This chest has original brass handles and escutcheons, a double serpentine shaped front, canted corners, a reeded top edge and sits on bracket feet. There is excellent cross banding on all the drawer fronts and the top as well. All the drawers have locks & they are graduated in depth.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age with a beautiful colour and lovely patina.
