Antique C19th Wooden Decoy Duck
This lovely wooden antique decoy duck dates looks to date from the first half of the nineteenth century. It has glass eyes, a metal hook on the bottom, and is painted.
Condition: Overall in good condition, with some wear and damage consistent with age and use. It has some scuffing and wear as might be expected, some chipping to the paintwork, and some chipping and loss to the tail. The base has been over-painted. The top paintwork is grubby and worn, and we are not sure whether it is original although it certainly has some age.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
13cm high, 37cm long, 15cm wide. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
