A lovely antique mahogany bedside cabinet. We date this cabinet to the early 20th century.

The cabinet sits on its side panels with four castors.

The front of the cabinet has a panelled door with a central carving and is fitted with a brass drop handle mounted on a decorative backplate, secured with a catch. Internally there is a removable mid height shelf.

Above there is a small recessed cupboard with two side hinged doors, the right hand door is fitted with a lock (key is supplied) and the left hand door is fitted with a top catch. Internally there is a mid-height shelf.

The cabinet has an overall height of 36.5" (92cm), a table top height of 26.5” (67cm), a width of 13.5" (34cm) and a depth of 14" (36cm).

This attractive mahogany cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a bit of wear to the table top surface and some light scratches and small indents to some surface areas. The side panels have indentation lines where something has been up against it in the past.

This remains a very stylish & elegant mahogany cabinet. It could serve well as either a bedside cabinet or as a side cabinet. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
