This is an English, Georgian, oak, cross banded chest of drawers dating to c. 1750.
Standing on classic Georgian bracket feet, this modest chest of drawers offers versatile storage.
In a '2 over 3' arrangement of graduated drawer depths, this piece has a pinned drawer construction with pine linings. The fronts have broad cross band framing and simple, elegant handles set off by sinuous brass lock escutcheons.
The oak carcass is unusual and very stable making this piece practical for the modern home whilst offering period charm.
