This is an antique chest on stand dating to the early Georgian period c.1720.
Rare to find with a desirable aged patina
Burr walnut top with grain interest
Double cross banded with edge moulding
2 over 2 drawer configuration
Walnut with cross banded edges
Good colour and grain interest
Dressed with original brass swan neck handles over etched brass back plates
Etched brass lock escutcheons with key absent
Standing on shaped stand with cabriole legs and pad feet
