This is a really clean Chinese leather scroll box or writing box in remarkably original order. The leather covered box has a gorgeous rich red colour and lovely patina. The box appears to have not been used as the condition is excellent both inside and out. There is a lift out tray to the interior and the domed lid has a pull out flap to the lid for storing pens and brushes. It has its original lock and metal carrying handles to the ends.

The box measures 38 cms long 12 cms deep and 14 cms high.
