Antique Chinoiserie & mahogany side cabinet with a serpentine shaped front. The Oriental decoration is all over the top & the front. It's of very high quality, with lovely colours & various scenes. Please enlarge all the images to see it all in detail. The background is polished mahogany & it's all in good original condition. There are plenty of other nice features, like the gold leaf shell carvings on the feet & other gold leaf decorations elsewhere. This cabinet has lots of character & dates from around the 1910-20's period. It's not only a great looking piece, but also a very useful item of antique furniture, with plenty of storage.
