This is an antique cigar humidor. An English, oak and bronze smoker's case, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Select oak presents light caramel hues with fine grain interest
Wisps of medullary rays abound for a distinctive appearance
Humidor lid hosts a thick, deeply bevelled glass viewing window and bronze corner mounts
Rectangular lock escutcheon to front — in working order, key present
Arranged with a pair cigar boxes, the centre hosting a match box and striker
Raised upon a plinth base, with protective green baize beneath
