Antique Coalbrookdale Cast Iron Garden Bench
Antique Coalbrookdale Cast Iron Garden Bench.
A 19th century English garden bench/seat by Coalbrookdale.
In very good, strong condition.
Featuring high quality casting, each end is stamped on both sides with the makers name and registered design number Coalbrookdale - Rd No 96622.
Originally it would have had wooden slats, these have been expensively replaced later with D shaped metal bars.
The feet have been cast to form large pads, allowing the bench to stand on a lawn without sinking into the ground.
English. Dating from the 19th Century.
