This is an English antique corner chair dating to c.1910.
This Edwardian chair is a rare find and has been professionally reupholstered in a quality cloth displaying classical vase motifs between parallel gold stripes edged with a brocade trim.
Formed in mahogany with inlaid stringing and marquetry detail the seat pad rises on turned legs united by an 'x' form stretcher. The swept arms seamlessly blend into the rear padded back support with pierced 'lyre' splats in perfect proportion offering stability to this delicate visual treat.
Superb quality and a stunning piece presented in good antique condition. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed & polished ready for the home.
