A well presented and solidly constructed English Victorian mahogany writing desk presented in very good antique condition.
By the respected Manchester cabinet maker Goodall this desirable desk has very pleasing proportion with quality evident in the concave full width drawer front and oak linings.
The cabriole legs all round and a tooled and embossed leather skiver produce a hugely stylish item of antique furniture.
With a central drawer over the knee flanked by long deep drawers with drop handles. This desk offers great storage capacity and superb practicality.
Overall a very collectible item of antique furniture which is perfectly robust and suitable for daily use.
The generous knee-hole and 77cm (30.3") desk height ensure the practicality matches the style.
