A Victorian snuff box in the form of a poodle dog with an old coin set in the lid.
The dogs head is handcrafted in pewter and shows excellent detail. The hinged lid is in brass and set inside with an old coin which has the date 1887.

This rare and very collectable item is offered in very good condition and in keeping with age.

Snuff was the vogue of mainland Europe’s aristocracy and the box was a valuable accessory that determined social status
